From 2005 to 2006, Zhang Zhihong went to six schools to support education like Hong Kong Fukien Secondary School. In July 2005 and In August 2006, he served as a general training coach of the HKSAR and became the champion in the final competition of the Tenth National Hua Luogeng Gold Cup mathematics Invitational competition. The team also got 2 gold medals, 2 bronze medals and two team workers got the first prize, six second prize, eight third prize , along with all team the seventh prize. Zhang Zhihong was awarded twice by Hong Kong Education Research Exchange Center.
